Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Project Description:
As our 3K students prepare to graduate and transition to pre-K, we want to ensure they leave our classroom with both joyful memories and the tools they need to continue learning over the summer.
This project will provide each child with a personalized going-away gift that includes age-appropriate educational materials such as books, fine motor tools, sensory items, and creative supplies.
Each item has been carefully selected to reinforce the foundational skills developed throughout the school year. Books will promote language development and early literacy; fine motor tools will strengthen hand muscles essential for writing; and sensory items will support self-regulation and focus. These resources will allow families to engage in hands-on learning during the summer months, helping students retain and build upon their progress.
Our goals are to celebrate our students' accomplishments, encourage a love for learning beyond the classroom, and support continued development during a critical time in their early education. By providing materials that can be used at home, we aim to bridge the gap between the end of the school year and the beginning of pre-K.
Our students are vibrant, curious, and resilient young learners. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique experiences and perspectives to the classroom. Despite their young age, they have shown incredible growth, enthusiasm, and perseverance. This project honors their hard work and recognizes their potential to thrive with the right support.
