My Project
As scientists, our students are curious to explore our world. However, we would like their curiosity to impact the community and ecosystems.
Our plan is to study bee populations and develop an understanding on how important these species are to the viability of our planet.
In order to promote more sustainable living, your funds would allow our students to build bee houses and hotels, while researching and planting native plant flowering species that will help increase our local bee pollination. Through this hands-on exploration, students will develop the skills, knowledge and empathy to transfer these skills to real world applications. Our goal is to have students identify an area of land or niche where bee populations can be sustainable.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
