My Project
I am requesting these leveled library fiction and non-fiction books to support our reading instruction. Students need to be reading daily on their instructional level to build confidence and to help them become stronger and more fluent readers. However, we only have a handful of these lower-level books because we are struggling in reading as a school. My students need to become strong readers in 1st Grade to bridge the gap we see happening in the older grades. My students will read these books daily and be sent home to practice with their parents for at least twenty minutes a night. We desperately need these books to help students move up in their reading levels, so they will not fall behind academically as the rigor of reading increases. This opportunity would improve the skills of all my students. Your donation would empower every student in my classroom to enhance critical reading skills.
