"Technology is something that was invented after you were born" ~Steve Jobs Schools and curriculum have changed immensely over the years. Students are now expected to become learners through what we used to call technology. Now it is a way of life and needed in this modern world.
My students are an eager group of third graders who love to learn.
Each day they come into class filled with happiness and excitement as to what the new day brings. Many are just now being exposed to the technology realm of learning and some do not have access to it at home.
My Project
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin The children in the classroom today are the ones who will be running our country in the future. Technology has changed the world in so many ways and is continuing to change. I have a classroom of 30 inquiring minds. My kids are living in a technology driven world and are constantly wanting to know more. In the classroom, these chromebooks will allow me to touch upon all types of learning styles through tactile, visual and technology. My students will be able to engage in differentiated learning with the use of chrome books that will also help them to succeed in the 21st century. In addition, some of my struggling students can receive specific intervention tools from these chrome books that will help build their confidence and academic level.
.
This donation will allow my students to be exposed to technology programs such as google docs, word, typing club and various other apps that will help them grow as a lifelong 21st century learner.
They will be able to build projects and work in groups to encourage confidence and acquire life skills that will benefit them throughout their schooling. Our class truly appreciates your donation!
