My Project
Our district uses EL Education for our reading and phonics curriculum. This curriculum promotes STEM learning and full immersion into our topics through guiding questions, hands-on experiments, and culminating projects for each module. We are excited about the upcoming 2025 release of the newest version of our curriculum, which incorporates the curriculum-titled "Explorer" and "Innovator" focuses while keeping the rigor in the reading!
With these exciting changes to our curriculum, we will need new trade books to support our learning goals!
This project will provide the required books for 2 of our 4 new reading modules. These books will be read aloud in class each day and used for close reads. We will continually refer back to these books throughout the modules as we work to build our knowledge on the topics, gather notes, and anchor our learning with classroom charts along the way.
