Teaching students how to read is a passion of mine. Ensuring students grasp the foundational reading skills is crucial for them to become successful readers throughout their school years.
I strive to provide students with fun and engaging ways to work on increasing their phonics skills and become better more fluent readers.
The items I am requesting will give my students the opportunity to practice the phonics skills they have been taught. The reading rods and pop it games will allow them to prove their knowledge of different phonics patterns and CVC words. The trays I am requesting will help me stay organized with the nine different groups I see each day.
Reading does not come easy for the students that I get to work with each day. This is why it is so important to me that I provide them with different ways of learning and do everything I can to make learning fun for them!
