The items being requested will help students in my diverse classroom pursue their interests and curiosity of learning. The sensory items will help excitable or unregulated students regain balance when needed. The books requested will help students gain confidence and know they are seen as a diverse community of learners. The hands-on activities will be engaging options for students during Choice Time. The garbage related items are an important part of this project. It will help support students as they work to start their Beautification Club at school.
Growing to be better humans through diversity, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and sustainability goals is a multifaceted and essential journey.
This project focuses on fostering personal and collective growth in ways that benefit both individuals and the planet. Helping my students to grow as positive leaders is the heart of this project.
