My Students
My Kindergarten class consists of 23 amazing students. My students are learning to read, write, and count. They love to learn through play and enjoy making connections to their peers both in the classroom and outside on the playground. Center time is especially fun because they have the opportunity to learn new things through play.
Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students deserve to be immersed in authentic learning experiences that challenge them on their level.
My class has a wide range of learning styles and the needs of many will be met with these new center materials.
My Project
Center time in the younger grades is critically important for my students to be successful readers and writers. Giving my class the opportunity to explore specific reading and writing centers is my goal!
The materials I have selected will target small group instruction and independent practice in both reading and writing.
These tactile resources will allow my students to engage with tools to help them grow as readers and writers. Your donation will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
All of the hands-on literacy centers I have chosen will be differentiated to meet the individual needs of my students on their own level.
