Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are 99.99 % Latino, being first generation high school graduates- and for many- embarking on the new journey of college/universities. My students are resilient, kind, and have sadly lived in a bubble- being surrounded by the industrial/ trucking commerce part of Los Angeles. I want my students that they too can be the protagonist of their novel. Students will learn about themselves and how to interact with their mental health through these books. Love to see a strong female author and let them see that they can be writers too. Thank you.
