My Project

We are an urban school that rents a building that is almost 100 years old. The teachers and staff work tirelessly to have the building be something the students both take pride in and feel an ownership over.

Research shows that your surrounding space can greatly affect your mental health.

We want our students to enter into their common spaces and see images of themselves hanging on the walls. The photo paper, magnets, and tapes can help with this. We want to replace our traditional-styled furnishings with real wood in order to warm the space up. We can build new shelves and tables in our workspace and the level, glue, and other supplies can help us do this. We want our students to walk into a beautiful space full of plants and feel GREAT about their school and READY to learn!
