This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students spend most of their days inside their classrooms. My hope is that having a classroom with natural tones and beautiful spaces will give my students a classroom that feels like a second home.

Having cozy reading nooks and a hammock will make my classroom a safe and fun place to read.

Students will also each get a reading bunny (stuffed bunny) and find a just right space to cozy up to and then "read" to their bunny. I chose a bunny to help them learn how to care for bunnies because our class pet is a bunny!
