Help me give my students an opportunity to watch the butterfly life cycle in person. They can follow the cycle through the egg, larva, pupa and adult stage. They will have a house waiting for them to inhabit.
The larva and butterfly houses will enable our students to see the metamorphosis of the butterfly from egg to adult. They will truly understand the life cycle. And when released the butterflies will have a ready made house waiting.
I want students to be excited about life cycles.
I want them to be excited as they watch new life hatch and form and grow.
My students are inquisitive and need experiences. They learn best by being involved in their learning. I can't think of a better way to teach them the life cycle.
