Help me give my students an appreciation for books by helping us obtain a copy of each book that is in our reading series along with a place to store them!

My Students

My students are 6-8 year old first graders.

These students have never had a full “normal” year of school due to Covid!

This has been the most challenging group I have had in 14 years. They are scattered between all reading levels and in general we are playing catch up due to Covid. Even though all the trials and circumstances this group of students are making great strides and continuing to learn every day!

My Project

The books I am ordering will greatly enrich our reading curriculum. As of right now, we have to watch every book in our curriculum on youtube. While that works it's not the same as actually seeing the book in front of you! My kids will love being able to look through the actual pages of the story will are studying for the week.

The shelf I am ordering will give us a place to keep each book organized with the curriculum that goes along with it.

These two things together will be supreme assets to our classroom!
