Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are creative, joyful souls with a lot of wonderful, unique ideas. However, they can get a bit unorganized sometimes, and let's be honest, so can I. I am setting up a color-coded storage system for the mini Maker Space in my classroom so it is easy to know where everything belongs.
I want to give my students as much autonomy as possible, so I need bins to set up stations where students can self-serve any supplies that they need for our STEAM projects.
All students, especially special needs students, benefit from organization and color coding, so these supplies would greatly help everyone with the executive functioning skill of staying organized.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
