it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Where and how you are raised, should not determine the opportunities and experiences you are afforded. I am excited to inspire and engage all of my students to build upon interests, learn new skills, and inspire each child to find and nurture educational creative avenues.
With so many students in and out with quarantines and sickness we are finding new and creative ways to help them catch up with their classmates and coursework.
There is so much make-up work and we have to work hard as educators to be creative at helping our students bridge the gap that their absences are making in their education.
My Project
We have so many students in and out of school with quarantine and sickness and many are falling behind in their assignments and coursework. We need to create a quiet place within the classroom that they can focus on the Nearpod trainings and other virtual assignments we are making to help them catch up. Having high quality headphones, instead of dollar store ones that don't work half the time, can really provide an environment for these students to dig in and learn.
We want to use these headphones on a check out basis in our classroom where they can go to our learning station and engage in virtual learning platforms without distractions and noise around them.
