My Project
My students are a diverse and enthusiastic group of young learners who are passionate about music. They come from various cultural backgrounds and often face challenges outside of school, but when they walk into our music room, they come alive. They love to explore rhythms, make music together, and express themselves through sound. For many of them, music is an outlet for creativity and a source of joy.
The introduction of bucket drumming will bring a new level of excitement to our music classes.
Bucket drumming is an accessible and engaging way to teach students about rhythm, coordination, and team work. It allows students to create powerful beats and rhythms using simple materials, making music education more inclusive and fun. With these drums, we can explore a variety of musical styles and create our own percussion ensemble.
Bucket drumming is especially valuable because it can be enjoyed by all students, regardless of their musical background or experience. The rhythmic skills they develop through drumming will support their learning in other areas, too, including math and language arts, as they learn to recognize patterns and sequences.
