Bear Bucks Bonanza: “Mastering Money Skills”

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn about financial literacy by being able to use their “Bear Bucks” they earn and spend it in our classroom store.

My Project

Using “Bear Bucks” can help students understand key concepts such as earning, saving, budgeting, and spending. You could set up a classroom economy where students earn Bear Bucks for completing tasks, demonstrating positive behavior, or achieving academic goals. They can then use their Bear Bucks to “purchase” incentives from the classroom store.

Student will be encouraged to save their Bear Bucks by offering larger rewards for saving up.

They will be introduced to budgeting and students will create budgets to help them plan their spending. This will teach them how to prioritize needs over wants.
