Bean Bag Chairs for Relaxed Reading

My students need 3 bean bag chairs for relaxing while they read in our school library. We also need filler to help our sagging other bean bags because they have been very well loved.

My Students

My students need more bean bag chairs for a comfortable and independent reading environment in our school library.

At a time when so much emphasis is placed on the weight of standardized testing, my students need more opportunities to kick back, relax and read in our school library.

Students from all over the school come to our library to read independently. My students are drawn to things that are new or seem fun, thus my request for bean bag chairs for them to read in.

We already have 4 bean bag , but they were so well loved and used this year that they're now kind of flat. I am going to combine the foam beads from 2 and need a few more to complete our comfy reading nook.

We serve kids from 6th to 8th grade (ages 11-14) and we represent and embrace many races, languages, cultures, and learning styles! Students Receiving Free/Reduced Lunch 32.4% (2017) Thank you for considering helping our kiddos! They're pretty much made of AWESOME!

My Project

We all have our favorite reading nook. Whether it be on the beach or on a screened-in back porch, it is imperative to feel comfortable in your reading environment in order to really engage with your book. I'm really passionate about creating an inviting reading environment in our library.

Hilarious, lively, and thoughtful would be the best three adjectives to describe my diverse & adorable students.

When a kid sees it as a reward for finished school work to come to the school library and snuggle into a cool bean bag chair and read for class or for pleasure - that's got to be a good thing! Thank you!
