This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The specific items being requested will make a difference in the learning of my students. The Pete the Cat Beach clean-up book is an age-appropriate book that will help my students practice during the summer. The student can then go do their own beach clean up at the beach. They can also read the book at the beach. This will help the environment stay clean by reducing the litter at our local beach.
The goal for this project is to have the students reading practicing their fluency skills and conservation awareness skills.
My students are special because they are so smart and kind. They are curious and love to learn anywhere they go. The sunglasses will protect their eyes. The students will be able to keep all items and remember to keep the Earth clean and healthy each time they use them.
