Be Rewarded for Being Great!

Help me give my students prizes that they can be rewarded as a behavior incentive!

My Students

I have been fulfilling my lifelong ambition of teaching and inspiring children for over 15 years. My passion is to help my students reach their potential and discover the joy of learning.

I have the opportunity to teach 60 unique students at a K-8 public, Title I-funded school where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch and come from low-income families.

My school encourages a diverse approach to learning that inspires each student to learn, achieve, and remain committed to high standards in all content areas.

My Project

Each year I like to have a prize box for my students to reward them for their behavior and academics. I reward my deserving students with things they will enjoy so they continue to uphold behavior and academic expectations. I chose bendable pencils, cotton candy, push-pops, fidget balls, m&m's, etc. for my students to choose. I use our school wide PBIS system to keep track of my students’ points and they can cash out their points for prizes. This has always worked in the past to promote positive behavior. I enjoy rewarding my students and seeing how proud they are of themselves when they get to choose a prize. This prize box incentive is always a big hit!
