My Project

I love when my 2nd graders have ah ha moments at the most random times. Many times those moments come in our stem center. I use the stem center as a motivational tool for other expected work. When I see they have given me their best or pushed themselves or even overcame something difficult - I like to reward them with time in our stem area. In this area they are free to create to their hearts content. Adding the magnetic tiles, legos, magnetic people etc. will offer more opportunities to more students. The scented pencils, dry erase markers and erasers are also items I use to help motivate students to continue to do their best.
