This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are encouraged to read several books a month during our independent reading time. My students cherish this time to choose what they want to read and read independently! They read a range of texts, from literary novels to manga to magazine articles. It's important to have access to these texts, and an e-reader will help to support their wide variety of interests and reading needs. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
These Kindles will help enhance our independent reading goals and access a wider variety of texts.
