This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students are eager to explore and learn new things everyday. For many of my students, this is their first school experience. They attend a Title I school and receive free lunch.

Providing my students with LEGOs and colorful magnetic tiles will enhance cognitive skills, promote fine motor skills and foster social skills by allowing students to work together.

My students will use the big soft blocks to create a variety of towers. It will help my students learn to take turns and share materials, develop new friendships, become self-reliant, increase attention span, and collaborate to problem-solve.
