Technology is a huge part of our society. I would love to incorporate my Physical Education classroom with the technology that my students are used to using on an everyday basis.
Do you remember the song...."where everybody knows your name"?
Well, that describes our school. We are a small school in a small country community. My students are eager everyday they come to my class. They are ready to move and ready to learn how they can make better choices.
My Project
I am requesting an Apple TV and cable. My students will be able to have immediate feedback on skills that they are learning and preforming by using the Apple TV to show videos and apps on my iPAD on a bigger screen so that all students can see it. They will use nutrition apps to see what choices of food will be more beneficial for them.
My students will not have to wait to have a turn to hold the iPAD to see the things I need them to watch because all my students will be see or watch what's on my iPad at the same time.
This will enable us to have more time to discuss and analyze what we have seen and how we can have a healthier lifestyle.
