This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of 18 eager to learn, energetic four year old children. For this class project, “Be A Saint And Help Us Get Paint” I am asking for tempera paint for small group art projects and for our free exploration painting center and tempera painters for free exploration in our art center. Children at this age learn best when given the opportunity to explore freely with a hands-on approach. In order for this to happen, our Pre-K classroom needs to be equipped with enough resources to be used at all times. The paint will make a difference in my students learning by giving them the opportunity to expand their creativity, explore with different types of paint, improve their fine motor development, and improve their self esteem as they create their own masterpieces.
