My Project

Recently, my students and I finished a book that kept them on the edge of their seats. They were upset when we had to stop reading. The surprise ending is what made the experience worth it. They jumped right into finding more. I want their next chapter book to give them same "edge-of-their-seat" feeling.

Bud, Not Budd is a great book that ties in historical periods, real places, and one boy's struggle to find family.

His adventures along the way are funny and I know the students will enjoy the humor of the book. This book also allows me to teach social studies as well as culture to the students.

Bud, Not Buddy is a great "buddy" for the students to have.
