My Students
The BCMS Bulldogs need your help! Our students need water bottles to promote healthy habits and to ensure that they are staying hydrated in their learning environment. Due to the rise of Covid cases, our school cannot permit drinking from a water fountain. If a student does not bring their own water bottle to school, then they go without water until lunch is served. The majority of our students do not own a water bottle. They rely on our school to provide water bottles for them. We do not have the funds to provide each student that comes to school empty handed with a water bottle. Random Acts of Kindness Week is February 14th-18th. Help spread kindness at BCMS by giving the gift of hydration to our students this month!
My Project
Promoting healthy habits in middle school teaches our students how to become healthy adults! Studies show that a little more than half of all children and adolescents do not get enough hydration while at school. Kids and teens should get two to three quarts of water per day, via food or drink. A large portion of our students go all day without access to water because they simply cannot afford a "clear" water bottle.
