My Students
We love superheroes! And by superheroes... I mean technology! My students love anything with an on button, so when it is time to use our classroom Chromebooks (affectionately named after superheroes), they are ready for any task.
I teach 6th grade core at a small middle school in Northern California.
My students are digital natives who, like most kids, love using technology in the classroom. They are always more excited to do research, write, or create projects digitally, because it allows them more flexibility and freedom.
My Project
My students will use these new superheroes (aka, chromebooks) to extend their classroom experience. They use them for research, creative projects, essay writing, and more. As a GAFE school, the Chromebooks work seamlessly with our programs. Two new computers will add to my classroom set to get us a little closer to my ultimate 1-to-1 dream.
These donations to support our classroom will continue to help my students use technology in school.
It seems so obvious that students should be using tech in school these days, but without the devices, it is a little hard!
