My Project

My students are 11th grade high school students who are driven to create, design, and build. They are driven by their creativity and passion for working with their hands.

We need basswood sticks to build frames of modern architectural designs.

We will also use these wood sticks to design, construct, and test the strength of a wooden truss bridge and satisfy certain conditions like span, strength, and cost.

We are part of a suburban, public charter school in a growing and diverse community and are committed to creating an equitable and no-cost Civil Engineering and Architecture program for our students.

Donations and sponsor contributions keep the program active and accessible to all of our student members. Please help us keep our promise to our students and help our program grow.
