Bassoons for Beginners!

Help me give my students a new bassoon! Our beginner students don't have bassoons to play on, and none of our local stores rent one. Purchasing a new bassoon will help our students for years to come!

My Students

"I can play it! I can finally play it!" exclaimed my euphonium player with bright, excited eyes. He'd been working for so long to make music and finally achieved his goal. Like many students, he felt progress and success.

Our band is home to 300 hard-working students who want one thing: to come together and make music daily.

Our band strives for outstanding performances and wishes to continue to push the limits. Help us move forward by funding our projects!

My Project

Bassoons are essential to a great band sound. We have beginning band students that want to play bassoon, but we don't have an instrument for them to play on! This project will help us gain one of the bassoons we need to make sure Westglades Bands is starting top-of-the-line bassoon players.

Not only will our bassoon players benefit directly, but the entire band will benefit as well.

When performing for adjudication, missing the bassoon sound could be detrimental to the ensemble and could even require some other non-bassoon playing students to cover the bassoon part on their instrument. Help us get bassoons for our beginners! Help us to take Westglades bands to the top!
