Basketballs and Volleyballs...Oh My!

Help me give my students some sports equipment that is very much needed. I teach in a low-income school. Students come from very rough backgrounds. We don't have a PTA, and there is NO parent support.

My Project

My students have a heart of gold, and they love coming to school to get away from their hard home lives. I would love to be able to get my students new basketballs vs the few balls our school does have, but those basketballs are so run down, oversized balls that are adult-sized versus smaller like them. I would absolutely love if I could get enough for my whole Physical Education class to use.

I work in a very low-income, Title I school, where there is NO PTA, and there is ZERO parent support.

Our school staff actually tries and support the parents by doing multiple meal pantries and clothing drives for the families throughout the school year.

I would be so grateful if I could get that drop hoop for the younger students can get the thrill of making a shot, as well as my older elementary students do. Basketball is their true passion, and it would mean the world to them just my get a few of these items.

I would also appreciate it if I could get the soft volleyballs. Last year, I introduced volleyball to the students for the first time, and they enjoyed it if we used a beach ball, but NOT a regular size, plastic volleyball, which is what the school only has to use, which then hurts their arms, and they don't want to play.

Thank you in advance to anyone able to help out my school and bring a little bit more joy to these students. So much appreciation, and truly blessed by any donations, anything helps.
