My Students
I work with students who have a variety of special needs. We have students who are autistic, have a variety of rare conditions, and who are non-verbal. We teach the four core subjects through prerequisite skills. We also teach life skills such as cooking and cleaning. l love working with these students as they show that no matter how hard life can be they always find joy in the smallest things. These students deserve the best and that is what I intend for them to have!
My Project
Teaching students with a variety of special needs requires our students to have a safe and positive break space. In my wish list I put a variety of sensory items in order to create this space. This space will help out our students who need to take frequent breaks in order to stay calm throughout the school day. I would love to surprise our students with the exciting new space to work for and enjoy! I can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces while they enjoy the new items! Thank you so much for helping out in advance, our students will be very grateful for your generosity!
