it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been a Physical Education teacher for over 17 years. So much of our equipment is old and outdated. When I start my unit on basketball, I am reminded each year that most of the balls we use are 5-10 years old and need to be refilled each day before my classes begin.
With your donation, our students will have the opportunity to play Basketball, a sport that many have never even played unless here at the school.
We are a Title I school with over 90 percent of our students coming from a low-income household. When my students first enter school, many are only familiar with playing soccer and baseball. This is where your help comes into play.
Please help me with this transition of replacing most of our old basketball equipment. My students can learn a new sport, practice teamwork, and get in some exercise. I know the joy they show at the end of the unit is a sight to behold. Thanks for supporting our small rural school.
