My Students

Describing my students isn't an easy task. My students come from a small, rural community. We are a Title I school, with 77% of our students coming from low-income homes. Our student body is composed of a very diverse population. All of my students are unique; unique in their learning, their abilities, and their interests. I teach math to Juniors and Seniors, and I am excited about having them back on campus this upcoming year. We are transitioning from a digital world back to a face-to-face environment, and I believe the use of iPads in the math classroom creates a smoother path.

My Project

Help my students and me get some basic supplies to start the school year. Tissues and paper towels are frequently used in the classroom, and I often end up purchasing these items personally. Because I teach in a school with a high population of students from families with low income, they often do not have the basic supplies they need, such as paper and pens. The hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will help keep the students safe. Your support for this project will help provide students with some basic supplies they need to be successful in the classroom.
