This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! Their enthusiasm for learning never ceases to amaze me. They work hard every day, staying engaged with hands-on activities and games that help them practice their skills and increase their knowledge. I love giving them the tools they need to succeed. We are a low socioeconomic area and highly diverse school in Central California. Nearly all of my students' learning happens at school. Most of my students have not traveled beyond our city walls. We are a small school with a big heart!

My Project

My students need to have the same high quality materials for use at home that we use in school.

Even when we return to face to face learning, recommendations require that students have their own materials and may not share.

My students need to be able to use the exact same materials I use in my math lessons. These rulers and colored pencils will give my students the confidence to do their best work in math and other subjects. We will use them in reading for annotations, science for diagrams, and art, for fun!
