This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Winter is here and we need our students to be ready! It is so important for our students to have warm jackets to keep them warm this winter. We keep extra underwear and socks on hand for students who spill or have an accident during the day as well as for students in need. Students are not expected to return these items so we need to keep a fresh supply on hand. New jackets will allow our student to be prepared for outdoor gym and recess, as well as when they are waiting for the bus.
Being warm and clean is something that all students deserve to feel and your donation towards this project will do just that.
They will not only benefit from the physical warmth but also from the warmth in their hearts knowing that there are kind people in the world that are willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. So many of our students come to school without these essential items that many of us take for granted. Please help us stay warm and clean this winter to ensure that we are healthy and can focus on having fun and learning when we come to school.
