This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach visual art at an elementary school. I service students from Preschool to 8th grade. My students are caring, full of creativity, and eager to learn. They jump at the opportunity to create new things.
My students love when they are able to express themselves and share a little bit of their story through drawing, painting, writing, and music.
My Project
Our classroom needs some essential materials so we can function at our best! In the art room, we love to create wonderful works of art, but sometimes it can get a little messy. We need some paper towels to clean up after ourselves. We also are trying to not use as much waste so we would love some clothes to tidy up. Baby whips would be very helpful to whip our hands after creating since we only have one very small sink in our room.
There are also some basic art supplies we need to make some great art projects.
Markers, crayons, paintbrushes, sharpies, and die-cutters would help us keep our room well stocked so we can create all year long!
