My Project
Our class is in critical need of individual headphones for independent science lab time. The lessons I would teach with using headphones is setting the computers up so that my students who are struggling with reading on their own could actually hear the 3D labs come alive and be able to comprehend what the project is all about. Throughout the day, our class uses technology to enhance listening and reading engagement skills. The majority of the science activities that my class has access to are read-alouds because they are considered beginning readers and cannot read most projects their own. The goal of utilizing headphones is to find a simple way for all of my students to be able to listen to step by step instructions on their technology devices with limited disruptions. Within these labs are also opportunities for materials such as batteries, aluminum foil and trays to collect all of the science materials. Let's bring science to life using our students imagination!
