My Project

My primary students are energetic learners who have a thirst for learning. Living in an urban neighborhood, on the far south side of Chicago, our students have shown that they can face any challenges that come their way! Every year my students arrive and only a handful arrive with the supplies needed to start the year off. I need to make sure they are always prepared.

As our new quarter begins, we already need to restock our supplies.

We have so many pencils but our erasers disappear after a few days. I want to make sure we get full use from our pencils but we need erasers to fix our many mistakes. We have begun using our white boards daily, but our EXPO markers seem to disappear rather quickly. I need to make sure I have extra on hand for those pesky markers that seem to run away! Since we have begun learning more sounds and blending words, the pop-its will help to make our blending of words just a bit more fun! The other supplies will be used by me the teacher for displays. The tape is the best tape for our cinder block walls and the laminating sheets makes sure to keep papers sealed for use in the future.
