Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I will teach a young, diverse group of second graders this fall! My students will be experiencing some challenges as we haven't entered our school since March! My students are resilient and I know they will come excited to see their friends and teachers again.
My classroom is about building skills to work together as a class.
The work we do in this classroom is building relationships and learning in Spanish! My students will be eager to engage either online or in person this fall.
My Project
My second graders will be entering school in the fall, and most likely our schedule will be modified because of the pandemic. In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, I have decided not to have a community supply space. Students will be given their own pencil box to take care of their supplies. In their pencil box they will have pencils, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, and erasers.
During our learning, it is important that the students are organized so they can be focused throughout the learning.
With the pencil boxes students can maintain organized at home and in school!
