My Students
We are a free, public, charter school that serves children who live in a district that is classified as low income, with all children receiving free breakfast and lunch. The background of students in this school is widely varied. We are consistently working to improve educational opportunities and variety of experiences each year! Our smaller environment helps many students to thrive.
It is unbelievable how many pencils, erasers, and sheets of paper a classroom can go through!
Our students are writing their hearts out, and that takes supplies!
My Project
It is amazing how many pencils, erasers, Post-it notes, and other general supplies we go through during our day! Having enough supplies at the ready for students to use as they need really makes the day go smoother for all.
When a student can simply go to the supply area and get the item they need, all benefit.
We have a supply area in the back of the room that is looking very sparse and students are asking when I will be getting more erasers. The clipboards give students the ability to work anywhere in the room, so are a necessity as well! Our 3 clipboards are taped up to hold them together, and students try to be the person with the blue clipboard. The laminating sheets are to laminate activities that are printed for students to re-use repeatedly.
