My students come from various family structures and sometimes that means that school supply shopping can be a challenge. Sometimes it is about economic status and others it's about parental availability to take them shopping. Regardless of the situation, I like to make sure my "take what you need" cart is fully stocked each year to support my students' learning. This project also will help me make sure that the supplies at their table groups are well stocked with a stapler, pencils, and scissors. Students will also be able to take snacks and feminine products if they need those as well.
Students shouldn't have to worry about not having access to basic school supplies as they have enough on their plates.
And having these supplies at hand helps their learning and completing assignments.
Teens of this generation have dealt with so much turmoil the past few year and I want school supplies to be a no brainer.
