My Project
Even in the era of Chromebooks, interactive boards, YouTube, and Google Classroom, it is often the most basic classroom supplies that are the most important to hold students accountable for their day-to-day learning and ensure their overall success.
In my history class, I use small journals for students to write their warm-ups at the start of class and to write their exit slips at the end of class.
I adamantly believe that writing with a pen or pencil nourishes the development of the teenage brain as well as critical thinking skills. Composition notebooks are used in my class to organize daily assignments and for note-taking. They are an essential school supply that many of my students simply cannot afford. Basic pocket folders help my students stay organized.
