My Students

I am an AIS teacher located in New York City. I teach eager kindergarten, first, second, and third-grade children who are struggling readers and writers. My students are devoted to learning, but need a different approach toward their education. They need small group instruction that uses many types of manipulatives.

When my children are successful, the look of wonder in their eyes is a sight to behold.

It is truly what makes being a teacher the best job in the world.

My Project

We are in desperate need of cleaning supplies for our classroom. We are going to be heading back to the classroom soon and now, more than ever, we need to make sure the classroom is constantly being cleaned.

I teach seven year old children that are not able to be vaccinated at this time.

One of the protections I can provide is making sure everyone is working on a germ free surface. To help with this project, I need simple items. I need paper towels, tissues and Lysol wipes.

My students will benefit from being able to wipe their desks several times during the day. Tissues are always a necessity as colds are always common in a classroom. Paper towels will help us dry our desks and our hands after washing them.
