Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third-grade students come into the class full of curiosity for the new experiences they will explore each day. I teach in a Title I school in New York City and the students come from many diverse backgrounds. Some of my students are from South America, Asia, and Europe.

My third graders come to school eager to learn and work together as a team.

The students in my class are hard working and caring. They are always so excited about working together, sharing ideas, and doing fun class projects.

I really try to make our classroom like a family unit which is caring, nurturing, and respectful. I want my third graders to appreciate each other and their learning environment.

My Project

My class is in need of some basic supplies to have a successful learning year. The students need Expo markers to play math games and write on their small whiteboards. They also need chart paper, markers, and tape for class groups projects. Our classroom also needs ink to print out important documents to support student lessons. Plastic sheet protectors will also come in handy for student games and learning stations.

Chart paper, markers, ink and tape are used daily for students in the classroom.

With your help and support the third graders in my class will have the supplies they need to work in groups and create fun activities together. We thank you in advance for your kindness.
