This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A lot of parents can not afford to buy school supplies for my students. My students deserve the chance to have the same opportunities as other children. Unfortunately, because of lack of funds, our students don't have the same supplies and materials as other students in affluent school districts.
My project will help supply my students with the materials they need to start the school year of right.
In my math class, my students will use the dry erase markers daily to solve problems. I will structure students who have organizational difficulties by setting up a binder with folders and loose leaf paper for them. The pencils, sharpener, and paper will be used as they work in their math modules and stations. The construction paper and markers will allow me to create differentiated material for my students and also for them to use for any projects they need to create. The lanyards will be used for hall, bathroom, nurse, and office passes for the school year. All students regardless of their circumstances deserve the chance and opportunity for prosperity.
