Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The future walks into my classroom every day. Each of my students has a different dream for the future but the same desire to accomplish greatness. All come from low income, poverty stricken families but none allow that fact to hinder their dreams. Their ability to rise above their circumstances is inspiring.
They are little bodies encapsulated with amazing power and inspirational determination.
There is no other way to explain my kindergarten students. They are an absolutely extraordinary group of readers, mathematicians, scientists, artists and historians. The future will be better because of them.
My Project
The requested supplies will ensure my students begin the year with the basic essentials needed for success. They will ensure that everyone has what they need and that parents will not have the additional stress of requested supplies.
Pencils and glue should be easily available to all students.
No student should have to worry about if they will have the basics when they enter a classroom. This project will ensure this basic level of comfort is accessible to each student who enters my classroom. The dry erase markers will also gives students the opportunity for more interactive learning.
