This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine being a student in a class with a lack of basic educational materials? The beginning of school can be a difficult time for many students, especially for those facing difficult finical situations. Basic supplies are a key factor in ensuring my students receive a quality education.

My students are a diverse group of first graders that are eager to learn!

These scholars take learning seriously and understand the importance of education. My students must often overcome many challenges to reach their highest potentials. Therefore, my students are empowered to do their best by working hard and never giving up.

My Project

I am requesting this list of simple materials that will help facilitate learning in my classroom. Simple materials such as pencils, notebooks, markers and paper will be necessary for my students to actively participate in classroom learning. Instructional materials such as dry erase markers, pens and paper will help me better instruct this driven group of students towards success.

I am impressed with my students dedication to education and their determination to make significant academic gains.

In order to focus on academics, my students must have the materials necessary to be successful. I want to provide my students with basic resources to attain an excellent education. This list of simple materials will help my students on the path of becoming well educated individuals.
