This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My oruguitas have begun their journey as authors! We will be using the materials purchased to help them further their writing and language acquisition skills in English and Spanish.

There's nothing more heartbreaking than seeing students frown or cry because they cannot afforf the necessary materials to learn.

That should be the least of their worries! This project will help these students in my class and bring a smile to their faces! They will have the notebooks, pencils, highlighters, and folders they need to continue their journey as writers (but also mathematicians and readers as I will give them supplies for their other classes).

This project will also help us get an easel to use for interactive writing, as we venture into writing in the new languages we will be learning! Additionally, we are getting protective covers for our Fire Kindles which were fully funded through your kindness in our last project. Please know that every single item will help my oruguitas grow, flourish, and transform into the beautiful mariposas they will be!
