My Students
This year I will be working with fourth grade to work with students who have the greatest needs before leaving our school.
I teach at an elementary STEM academy.
We are the only elementary STEM school in our public school system and our robotics team has made it into world finals for the past two years. However my room lacks technology. My students' goals are 80/90/100. Eighty percent of students are career and college ready, 90% of students graduate from high school and 100% of students who graduate will enroll in a post-secondary learning opportunity.
We need your help. We are in an urban area with very little prospects for the future. We are working to change that and want your help.
My Project
I am requesting basic supplies for my classroom that are needed for every day learning. These are all supplies that my students need for every day learning. Recently we ran out of pencils, and my students needs these pencils for every day learning.
Many of my students have also ran out of paper.
They come to school each day with no notebooks, or pencils. I have been supplying them myself up to this point however my family can no longer afford to continue buying these supplies for my students so I am asking for your help in making sure my students are ready to learn.
We are also asking for tissues, we have ran out and cold and flu season is still going strong. Thank you for whatever you are willing to give.
